Utah vital records — births, deaths, marriages, and divorces — are administered by the Office of Vital Records and Statistics within the Department of Health and Human Services under Utah Code Title 26B, Chapter 8. Certified copies can be ordered through vitalrecords.utah.gov; births are restricted for 100 years and deaths for 50 years.
