The Waco Regional Service Center is one of the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles' regional service centers, the state offices behind the county tax offices for the title work a county cannot finish: replacement titles, bonded title rejection letters, title error investigations, apportioned registration, transfer notifications and title histories. This page carries its address, phone and fax, hours and closures, the appointment rules, and the counties it supports with a link to each county tax office. Every Texas office is on the Texas DMV offices list.

What the center handles
The TxDMV lists six services at its regional service centers: replacement titles; bonded title rejection letters; apportioned registration (IRP credentials and temporary operating authority for established accounts); investigating and resolving Texas title errors; vehicle transfer notifications; and title history inquiries. It accepts cash, checks, debit or credit cards and money orders.
Driver licenses and ID cards are not handled here; the TxDMV sends those to the Texas Department of Public Safety, and the DPS offices are on the offices list. A replacement title can also be requested online, as the Texas DMV guide explains.
Hours and closures

Since March 9, 2022 the centers close from 8 am to 9 am on the second Wednesday of each month for a staff meeting. Appointments and walk-ins
Customers without appointments are eligible for service at every TxDMV regional service center, customers with appointments receive priority, and everyone else is served first come first served. Appointments are taken for the current day and the next two days on the TxDMV's booking page. At certain locations dealers, title service companies and their runners may book by selecting Motor Vehicle Dealers or Title Companies and Runners as the appointment type; elsewhere they are served as walk-ins or by mail or drop-off, and the TxDMV says some offices limit how many transactions they process for those businesses at one time.
